Join us as Andrea Jarrell reads from her debut memoir, I'm the One Who Got Away, and Melissa Scholes Young  reads from her debut novel, Flood, winner of the Best Book Award in Literary Fiction. Appearing on several 2017 must-read lists, The Today Show called it "one of the most buzzed about books of Fall 2017." Jarrell’s essays have been published in the New York Times Modern Love column, Harper’s Bazaar, Literary Hub, Narrative Magazine, the Washington Post, and many other sites, journals, and anthologies. About Flood Flood is asparkling debut set in Mark Twain's boyhood town, Flood is a story of what it means to be lost . . . and found. Now she's returned unannounced, and her family and friends don't know what to make of it. She says she's just home for a brief visit and her high-school reunion, but she's carrying too much luggage for that: literal and metaphorical.
