Curious Iguana is thrilled to present Jacqueline Woodson, award-winning author and National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, on Thursday, August 30, 7 pm, at the Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 South Carroll Street, in Downtown Frederick, MD. The ticketed event will feature Woodson in conversation with Andrea Lewis, program officer for the Maryland Center for the Book at Maryland Humanities. Books will be available for purchase and signing, including Woodson’s newest titles – The Day You Begin and Harbor Me – which release on August 28 from Nancy Paulsen Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers.
