Cynthia Kane: Talk to Yourself Like a Buddhist

Join us at Area 31 (31 East Patrick Street) to meet certified mindfulness and meditation instructor Cynthia Kane, whose newest book – Talk to Yourself Like a Buddhist – introduces the Middle Path of Self-Communication. Cynthia outlines five mindful practices – Listen, Explore, Question, Release, and Balance – all of which are grounded in Buddhist principles.
This book will show you how to:
- Identify your negative self-talk and explore the underlying self-judgments that produce it
- Release the judgments that are poisoning your self-communication
- Practice a system of balanced internal communication based on truth and compassion
